Dental Assistant Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Dental Assistant to join our team at Third Street Dental in German Village, Columbus, OH. As a key member of our dental team, you will be responsible for preparing appointments, handling X-rays, and providing procedural support.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and coordinate with patients to schedule appointments
Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary instruments and materials
Assist the dentist during treatments by providing the necessary instruments and materials
Take and develop X-ray pictures for patient records
Ensure accurate completion of clinical records and notes
Perform laboratory activities such as creating impressions, temporary crowns, and teeth-whitening trays
Requirements:
Must have 1-2 years of previous dental assistant experience
Provide clinical assistance to the dentist throughout treatments
Schedule and verify patient visits
Set up the relevant dental instruments, materials, and medications needed for each treatment
Accomplish laboratory procedures including casting and sculpting dental impressions
Help with patient education and provide guidance in preventive oral care
