Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, executing therapeutic procedures, and fostering effective communication to directly contribute to superior patient outcomes.

About the Role:

This is a per diem opportunity for a Respiratory Therapist to work in a collaborative setting with skilled professionals. You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients while enjoying the warm climate and vibrant community of the Gulf Coast.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient needs and develop effective treatment plans
  • Execute therapeutic procedures, including ventilation and oxygen therapy
  • Foster effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care

Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field
  • Current Florida Respiratory Therapist Licensure
  • Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Current PALS certification from the American Heart Association or must be obtained within 120-day orientation period
  • Current NRP certification if working in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
