Key Responsibilities:
- Acting as a primary liaison with clients, representing the company.
- Participating in client meetings and providing updates on project statuses and workloads.
- Installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing various communication systems, including intercoms, public address systems, alarm systems, and telecommunication equipment.
- Ensuring timely and accurate completion of all monthly preventive maintenance tasks.
- Developing technical solutions in collaboration with vendors and internal teams.
- Managing permitting and flagging for outside plant (OSP) activities.
- Running and terminating cables for telephone systems and non-voice circuits.
- Installing and troubleshooting Cat5e and Cat6 cables for local area networks (LAN) and telephony systems.
- Overseeing purchasing and vendor relations.
- Opening, closing, and tracking work orders efficiently.
Clearance: DOD Secret (preferred)
Education: High School diploma or equivalent
Experience:
- Ability to pass a National Background Check.
- Previous leadership experience is a plus.
- Eligibility to access DoD facilities with a valid driver's license.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in installing and troubleshooting Cat6 cabling, circuits, and telephony systems.
- Willingness to work standard hours with flexibility for on-call duties.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Assignments may vary based on client needs.
- Work may be conducted in office settings or in the field, exposing technicians to various environmental conditions.
- Ability to climb ladders and work in confined spaces.
- Capability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Travel requirements may vary based on the position.
- Employment is contingent upon obtaining and maintaining necessary certifications.
- Professional behavior that promotes teamwork and productivity is expected.
- Compliance with safety standards and regulations is mandatory.
