Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team at Memorial Hermann Health System. As a key member of our perioperative team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our surgeons and anesthesiologists during surgical procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Provide proficient perioperative patient care through the use of equipment and instrumentation.
  • Function as a scrub assistant to the physician performing operative and/or invasive procedures.
  • Work under the direction of a Registered Nurse and as outlined in the Surgical Technologist Skills Inventory.
  • Use knowledge and expertise to act as a role model and resource for other staff.
Requirements
  • Certification as a Surgical Technologist by the National Board of Surgical Technology & Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT).
  • 1+ year of hospital experience, preferably in orthopedic surgery.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
