Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Emergency Medicine Specialist to join our team at Sollis Health. As an Advanced Care Provider, you will play a pivotal role in providing seamless care to adult and pediatric patients in urgent and emergent situations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform medical evaluations and formulate treatment plans for urgent and emergent care within the scope of emergency medicine.
  • Conduct medical procedures, including obtaining IV access, splinting, suturing, phlebotomy, and performing EKGs.
  • Develop and implement differential diagnosis and treatment plans for patients in various settings, including in-center, virtual, and at-home care.
  • Triage patient needs, assess concerns, and determine the right course of action.
  • Collaborate with a team of Physicians, nurses, and technicians to discuss assessments and ensure quality care.
  • Document clinical evaluations and treatment in the electronic health record, AthenaHealth.
  • Work closely with the Medical Director and other clinical team members to ensure adherence to policies and delivery of quality care.
  • Coordinate additional care with our After Care and house calls teams or with Medical Partners.
  • Provide patient-centered, empathetic communication and make patients and family members comfortable.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree, required. Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program, required.
  • Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner state license and ability to practice in California State.
  • Preferred 2-3 years of Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner experience in emergency departments and/or urgent care centers.
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS certification required upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong clinical skills.
  • Tech savvy with the ability to use and/or learn our systems, including Slack, Athena Health, Salesforce, and Humanity.
  • Superb technical skills, including phlebotomy, peripheral IV placement, medication administration.
  • Ability to be adaptable and work in a fluid, multitasking environment.
  • Strong process and organizational skills.
  • The ability to problem-solve and think outside of the box.
Compensation

The anticipated rate/range for this position is $176,800 - $187,200 per year, dependent on experience and qualifications.
