About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Sprinkler Inspection and Service Technician to join our team at Impact Fire Services. As a key member of our fire protection team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and integrity of our clients' fire suppression systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspection and Service: Perform regular inspections and maintenance on fire sprinkler systems to ensure they are functioning properly and meet industry standards.
  • Repair and Installation: Repair and install fire sprinkler systems, including wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and foam systems.
  • Backflow Prevention: Inspect and repair backflow preventers to prevent contamination of potable water supplies.
  • System Testing: Test fire sprinkler systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and meet industry standards.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and testing.
Requirements
  • License: Must hold a Massachusetts Fire Sprinkler Journeyman License.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in fire sprinkler inspections and service.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, excellent communication and organizational skills, and ability to work at heights.
Preferred Qualifications
  • NICET Certification: NICET Certification in Inspection & Testing of Water-Based Systems and/or Water-Based Systems Layout, preferred.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of proven success in performance of Sprinkler inspection, installation, and service.
