DaVita Inc is seeking a skilled and compassionate Acute Registered Nurse to join our team. As an Acute Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a Registered Nurse to work in a hospital setting, providing dialysis care to patients with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care, including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT).

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care in a hospital setting, including dialysis, medication administration, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct patient assessments, identify potential complications, and take appropriate action to prevent or manage them.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N); three-year diploma from an accredited diploma program may be substituted for nursing degree.
  • Experience in intensive care unit (ICU), critical care unit (CCU), emergency room (ER), or medical surgical (Med Surg) settings is preferred.
  • Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) certification is a plus.
