Job Role: As a Histology Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing routine and complex histological techniques, including embedding, cutting, staining, and cover slipping of tissue samples.
  • Receiving and processing specimens from various sources, ensuring accurate accessioning and preparation for diagnosis.
  • Assisting in autopsy procedures, including tissue collection and preservation for microscopic examination.
  • Maintaining an organized laboratory environment, ensuring compliance with established protocols for filing and storage of samples.
Qualifications

Required Certifications:

  • Medical Technologist/Clinical Laboratory Scientist
  • BLS Certification

Technical Skills: Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in the necessary skills to meet the requirements of the role, including fluency in English.

Work Schedule

The laboratory operates 24/7, and the technician will work Monday through Friday during standard business hours.
