Histology Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Histology Technician to join our team at Ansible Government Solutions, LLC. As a Histology Technician, you will be responsible for processing tissues, embedding, cutting, and staining samples for microscopic analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Process tissues through fixation, dehydration, and infiltration
• Embed tissues, cut, and perform routine staining
• Perform special stains and immunoperoxidase procedures as needed
• Assist with cytology specimen processing
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Associate degree from an accredited institution
• ASCP professional certification or equivalent
• Minimum of three years of experience within the last three years

Working Conditions:

The ideal candidate will be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds from the floor to waist and carry up to 40 pounds a reasonable distance is also required.
