We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Specialties (F6) team at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct patient care to assigned patients, utilizing your expertise in nursing to deliver high-quality care and support.
Responsibilities- Deliver nursing care to patients in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act of the State of Arkansas and institutional policies.
- Collect and document assessment data, developing a Plan of Care (POC) per standard.
- Implement POC, including medical orders and interdisciplinary approaches.
- Evaluate patient progress toward desired outcomes.
- Provide effective patient/family education and discharge planning.
- Administer medication per standard, including drug information to patients/families.
- Act as a resource and support others.
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program with an Associate's Degree, Nursing Diploma, Bachelor's in Nursing, or Master's in Nursing.
- Valid RN License.
- One (1) year of Nursing Experience (direct patient care) similar to or related to the position applied for.
- Basic computer skills.
This position requires constant physical activity, including standing, bending, and lifting. The work environment is inside a medical facility with moderate noise levels.
