About Tolin Mechanical

Tolin Mechanical, an established and respected HVAC service contractor, is seeking an experienced Project Technician to join one of our project teams based out of Colorado Springs. We are looking for a candidate who meets the qualifications listed below.

Job Summary

We have a solid team of experienced and respected technicians. Our business continues to grow, and we are looking for another solid technician who is interested in a long-term position and who will fit well into our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support overall project goals and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Install and repair commercial HVAC systems, using a variety of hand tools, blueprints, wiring diagrams, piping schemes, and/or engineering specifications.
  • Document work and provide technical support to customers.
  • Work with a variety of equipment, including rooftop units, chillers, cooling towers, hot water/steam boilers, packaged air conditioners, computer room AC equipment, control systems, air handling/fan coil units, condensers/chilled water pumps, refrigerated air dryers, air compressors, exhaust fans, ice machines, variable frequency drives, and humidifiers.

Requirements

  • 5 years' experience as a Commercial HVAC Technician.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Effective team player.
  • Over 18 years of age.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Strong written and verbal English skills.
  • Valid driver's license with driving record in good standing.
  • Union Membership.

Compensation and Benefits

Average Starting Rate for a Project Technician: $ per hour. Combined experience, education, skills, and knowledge will be taken into consideration.
