Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance and Engineering team at Peerless Pump Company, a subsidiary of Grundfos. As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the efficient operation and upkeep of our property grounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs to ensure the efficient operation of building systems and equipment, including electrical, plumbing, masonry, carpentry, HVAC, and mechanical repairs.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with equipment and systems to determine the root cause and implement effective repairs.
  • Assist subcontractors and maintenance technicians as required to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Perform manual and electronic record keeping and information retrieval functions to maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
  • Work collaboratively with the Maintenance/Facilities Manager and Environmental Health and Safety team to ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
  • Maintain grounds and facilities to ensure a safe and healthy work environment, including grass cutting, snow removal, security lighting, and general upkeep.
  • Prioritize maintenance requests and work based on urgency and severity to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical school in maintenance or related field preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of personal computer and software required.
  • Positive and professional attitude to communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
