Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Hardside Sales Associate who possesses a strong knowledge and enthusiasm for one or more of the following areas: Pet Supplies, Plumbing and Electrical, Tools, Farm Equipment, Tack and Animal Supplies, and Automotive Products. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and will play a key role in assisting our team in meeting the diverse needs of our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
  • Utilize knowledge of hardware, tools, and automotive accessories to assist customers effectively.
  • Support the team in maintaining a well-organized and stocked sales floor.
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with team members in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

  • Passion for delivering world-class customer service.
  • Knowledge of general hardware, hand tools, and power tools; familiarity with plumbing, farm equipment, automotive, and electrical products is advantageous.
  • Enthusiastic and proactive in all aspects of the role, with a strong understanding of inventory management.
  • Excellent organizational skills to keep tasks and information accessible.
  • Effective time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Adaptable and able to maintain composure in a dynamic work environment.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Physical capability to lift 20-50 pounds regularly and perform tasks that require bending, stooping, and climbing.
