Job Summary:
Piedmont Medical Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Surgical ICU team on a part-time basis. As a Surgical ICU Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and promoting a positive patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized patient care to critically ill patients in the Surgical ICU
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, medication, and treatment plans
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements:
- Associate degree in Nursing required
- Minimum one year of telemetry experience preferred
- Current RN license from the state of residence required
- American Heart Association BLS CPR certification required
- American Heart Association ACLS certification required within six months of hire
