Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the head coach with practice and game preparation, including developing and implementing game plans and strategies.
  • Recruit and evaluate potential student-athletes, including conducting interviews and assessments.
  • Develop and implement academic support programs for student-athletes, including tutoring and mentoring.
  • Assist with fundraising efforts, including developing and implementing fundraising campaigns and events.
  • Develop and implement the off-season program, including designing and implementing training sessions and activities.

Requirements:

  • Experience coaching at the high school, college, or travel ball level.
  • Strong knowledge of softball rules, strategies, and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, coaches, and other staff members.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a related field, such as sports management or education.
  • Experience working with NCAA Division III institutions.
  • Strong knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
