We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to join our team at Soliant. As a Speech Therapist for a Massachusetts school district, you will work closely with a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide support to students with speech and language disorders.
Responsibilities- Assist in conducting speech and language assessments under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Implement therapeutic activities and exercises designed by the supervising SLP.
- Provide direct support during individual or small group speech therapy sessions.
- Monitor and document student progress and behavior during therapy sessions.
- Assist in preparing materials and resources for speech therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to support the integration of speech and language goals into classroom activities.
- Maintain confidentiality of student information and records.
- Current MA State License
- Bachelors in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
- PDE Teaching Certificate
- Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required
