Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $36,000, based on a part-time schedule of 20 hours per week and an hourly wage of $17.92, which is competitive for the Beaumont, TX area.

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and patient Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a DSP, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the individuals we support.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing personal care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • Assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Supporting individuals with behavioral challenges and complex needs
  • Encouraging participation in community activities and promoting independence
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • At least six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
