Aramark Uniform Services is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Laundry Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our industrial laundry facility.
Key Responsibilities- Perform daily tasks to maintain a clean and safe work environment, including emptying trash cans, cleaning tunnel screens, and breaking down boxes.
- Clean and maintain restrooms, break areas, and other designated areas, including sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces.
- Operate equipment and machinery to support laundry operations, including changing floor mats and moving empty barrels.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production goals and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge in areas such as safety procedures, equipment operation, and quality control.
- High school degree or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic math skills and ability to perform calculations accurately.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
This role is performed in a warehouse setting and requires regular exposure to outside weather conditions, extreme heat and cold temperatures, and dust and noise. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
