Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MRI Technologist to join our team at Proliance Surgeons. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality images that assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI and radiography equipment to produce high-quality images
  • Pre-screen patients and screen them prior to performing MRI procedures
  • Provide exceptional patient care and interact with patients, staff, and physicians in a professional and empathetic manner
  • Communicate effectively with referring providers and NOIA to resolve imaging issues
  • Exercise discretion and integrity when handling confidential information
  • Perform quality control checks on equipment and report any issues to the information service and clinic manager
  • Prioritize tasks and work independently to accomplish them in a timely manner
  • Fill in for other technologists in their absence and work under stressful conditions
Requirements
  • Board certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in MR or MR certification through ARMRIT
  • Current Washington State Radiologic Technologist license
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Musculoskeletal MRI exam experience required
  • 2-3 years of experience working in a physician office and ambulatory MRI department preferred
  • Able to operate SIGNA Explorer 1.5T version 25.1 MRI Scanner

  • Understanding of and adherence to all safety, risk management, and precautionary procedures
