We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MRI Technologist to join our team at Proliance Surgeons. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality images that assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients.
Key Responsibilities- Operate MRI and radiography equipment to produce high-quality images
- Pre-screen patients and screen them prior to performing MRI procedures
- Provide exceptional patient care and interact with patients, staff, and physicians in a professional and empathetic manner
- Communicate effectively with referring providers and NOIA to resolve imaging issues
- Exercise discretion and integrity when handling confidential information
- Perform quality control checks on equipment and report any issues to the information service and clinic manager
- Prioritize tasks and work independently to accomplish them in a timely manner
- Fill in for other technologists in their absence and work under stressful conditions
- Board certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in MR or MR certification through ARMRIT
- Current Washington State Radiologic Technologist license
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Musculoskeletal MRI exam experience required
- 2-3 years of experience working in a physician office and ambulatory MRI department preferred
- Able to operate SIGNA Explorer 1.5T version 25.1 MRI Scanner
- Superior customer service skills
- Great interpersonal skills, demonstrating patience, composure, and cooperation
- Understanding of and adherence to all safety, risk management, and precautionary procedures
- Ability to manage multiple factors for the best result
- Resourcefulness in addressing first-level problems and tenacity to see things through to solution

May require working under stressful conditions or working irregular hours.
