Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at Ascension St. John. As a PTA, you will work under the supervision of a physical therapist to provide medically prescribed physical therapy to patients in an acute inpatient rehab setting.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct physical therapy interventions under the supervision of a physical therapist
  • Provide physical therapy interventions under a plan of care written by a physical therapist
  • Document treatment interventions given
  • May coordinate activities of physical therapy aides, students, and other support personnel
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association
  • Rehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy Assistant certification from the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience
