Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) at CHRISTUS Health plays a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care to children from San Antonio, South Texas, and around the world. As a key member of our pediatric team, you will assess, implement, and evaluate total nursing care, providing clinical supervision and guidance to entry-level nurses.
About the Role:
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to a diverse population of children, from neonates to adolescents.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and develop effective care strategies.
- Supervise and mentor junior nurses, promoting professional growth and development.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical advancements, best practices, and evidence-based care guidelines.
Requirements:
- Current Texas RN license.
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification highly desired.
- Specialty certification in pediatrics or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment:
CHRISTUS Children's Hospital is a 190-plus-bed facility serving over 70,000 children annually. Our state-of-the-art hospital offers a range of specialized services, including pediatric and neonatal intensive care, children's emergency services, and a highly regarded Cancer and Blood Disorders Center.
