Job Summary:

Radiology Tech Aide - Part Time - 24 hours

Job Responsibilities:

As a Radiology Tech Aide, you will be responsible for transporting patients to the radiology department, maintaining patient comfort and safety, and assisting technologists with patient care. You will also be responsible for prioritizing daily requests from technologists, communicating with healthcare staff, and maintaining established hospital departmental policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transport patients to the radiology department via gurney, wheelchair, and bed

• Maintain patient comfort, safety, and privacy while transporting

• Assist technologists with patient care, including monitoring patients and positioning them on examining tables

• Prioritize daily requests from technologists and communicate with healthcare staff

• Maintain established hospital departmental policies and procedures

Working Conditions:

This role requires manual skills, motor coordination, and finger dexterity. You will be working in a fast-paced environment with some exposure to dirt, odors, noise, and human waste. You will also be required to exert up to 50 pounds of force and work in a physical environment that may be challenging at times.

Requirements:

• High school diploma required

• Previous healthcare or radiology knowledge preferred

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
