Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate patient care activities, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care and services.
- Develop and implement patient care plans, working closely with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
- Manage and coordinate patient records, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care.
Requirements
- Nursing diploma (associate's or bachelor's degree in nursing)
- Current licensure/registration in applicable State
- One (1) year geriatric nursing experience preferred
- CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation
