Position Overview

As a vital member of our team, the Customer Service Representative serves as the initial point of contact for current, prospective, and new residents. This role is crucial in establishing a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a positive first impression. The position involves working at various locations throughout the city, providing a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome all visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor as they arrive. Ensure prompt and courteous phone responses, ideally within three rings.
  • Maintain awareness of room availability and current openings.
  • Facilitate room bookings for guests both in-person and over the phone, including managing online advertisements.
  • Process all financial transactions accurately, including cash and credit card payments.
  • Securely manage cash deposits in the safe.
  • Keep precise records of room status and complete closing procedures, including deposit documentation and security measures.
  • Receive and manage work requests from residents, ensuring proper processing within the system.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail for residents.
  • Ensure the office environment remains clean and welcoming.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of six months of experience in customer service.
  • Eligibility to work in compliance with State and Federal regulations.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to stand and walk continuously throughout the shift.
  • Capable of bending, lifting, and carrying items weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Engage in regular face-to-face interactions with customers.
  • Demonstrate multitasking abilities while maintaining a positive attitude in a busy environment.

Work Environment

  • Standard 8-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays, five days a week.
  • Adhere to company uniform and hygiene standards.
  • Work in a lively, fast-paced, and enjoyable atmosphere.
