Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Commercial HVACR Service Technician to join our team at ClimaTech. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair commercial HVACR systems, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance on HVACR systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Respond to service calls and troubleshoot issues with HVACR systems.
  • Check, repair, and replace valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring, fans, pumps, compressors, condensers, cores, pipes, and other functional components of the system.
  • Document all work performed on electronic tablets.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of related work experience in commercial HVACR service.
  • HVAC Associate Degree or Certificate.
  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • EPA Universal Refrigerant and Recovery Certification.
  • Ability to present self in a highly professional manner to others.
  • Honest and ethical.
  • Ability to communicate with co-workers and other departments with professionalism and respect.
  • Knowledge of and proficiency in all OSHA and local requirements related to assigned work.

Physical Requirements:

  • Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus, with or without corrective lenses.
  • Significant walking or other means of mobility.
  • Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
  • Ability to reach, bend, stop, push, and/or pull, and frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move 40 pounds.

Working Conditions:

  • Generally in an indoor setting; however, may participate in outside activities and events.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
  • Climbing ladders and working off of elevated platforms.

Compensation: $50,000 - $110,000 per year (depending on experience), full-time

Benefits: Paid health, dental, and eye insurance. After 90 days, you'll receive one week paid vacation and can receive up to five weeks after various periods of time worked. Other benefits: 401k with match, short-term disability, life insurance, uniforms, work boot allowance, tool replacement, certified safety trainer, factory training, and on-the-job training.
