Key Responsibilities:


The Academic Records Support Specialist plays a crucial role in providing essential services to students and university personnel, including academic faculty and advisors.

This position serves as the primary liaison and receptionist for the Registrar's Office, ensuring a professional and seamless interaction with all stakeholders.

Beyond front-line duties, this role is integral in maintaining and managing databases pertinent to transfer equivalency, contributing to the accuracy and integrity of academic records.

During peak periods, the specialist may assist colleagues to ensure efficient office operations and consistent service delivery.


Core Duties:


- Deliver prompt and courteous information and assistance to students, faculty, and staff regarding inquiries related to the Registrar's Office.

- Maintain the Transfer Equivalency Database (TES) by updating course equivalencies as needed.

- Provide support to Transfer Articulation Analysts during busy times by assisting with transcript evaluations.

- Identify operational challenges and propose recommendations for process improvements.

- Perform additional duties as assigned.


Qualifications:
- An Associate's degree is required.
- Familiarity with evolving technology is essential.
- Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Office software are necessary.


- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse individuals and possess exceptional communication skills.

- Highly organized with a capacity to adapt quickly to changes, along with a keen attention to detail.
