We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Scientist to join our team at LanceSoft, Inc. in Houston, TX. As a key member of our Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT) team, you will be responsible for the successful transfer of viral vector bioprocesses into GMP production.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure successful process scalability and manufacturability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex quality system deviations
  • Develop and implement process improvements to ensure process and product quality
  • Participate in technology transfer and oversight, as well as process improvements, for all process steps
  • Assist in the creation of a full bill of materials for a given program
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a science-related field
  • Master's or Ph.D. preferred
  • 5-10 years of experience in GMP manufacturing support
  • Advanced knowledge of cellular biology, cell culture, scale up, mass transfer, bioreactor operation, and/or depth filtration, tangential flow filtration, chromatography, viral filtration
  • Critical thinking skills in problem-solving and decision-making
  • Strong communication, technical writing, organizational, and interpersonal skills
