We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join our dynamic team at Yurts, where we are revolutionizing the way teams harness AI for productivity and performance.

Yurts is an innovative platform that unlocks unstructured data and turns it into a secure knowledge management system. Our collaboration with the Department of Defense has enabled us to redefine how teams leverage AI for productivity and performance. We offer secure, innovative solutions, including air-gapped deployments for defense and a full ML ops analytics framework to drive cost efficiencies.

The Role

We are looking for a bold thinker and doer to lead our software infrastructure efforts. As a Senior DevSecOps Engineer, you will be responsible for deploying our product in US government compute environments using Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes/Docker, and related technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deploy the Yurts product in US government compute environments using automation tools.
  • Architect, implement, and maintain an installer for deploying our software across multiple customer environments.
  • Develop automation scripts for provisioning, monitoring, backing up, patching, and deploying the Yurts product and underlying services.
  • Prepare packages required for Authorization to Operate (ATO), Certification to Field (CTF), and other security requirements presented by US Government Risk Management Frameworks (RMF).
  • Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery capabilities for deployed applications.
  • Implement robust monitoring, alerting, and logging systems to ensure optimal performance and uptime.

Requirements

  • An active US Department of Defense or Intelligence SECRET clearance, with a willingness to obtain a TS/SCI if needed.
  • A BS degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
  • CompTIA Security+ Certification.
  • 4+ years of experience as a DevOps or DevSecOps Engineer, or equivalent software-engineering role.
  • Extensive experience leading application deployments to AWS, Azure, and/or Oracle Cloud environments, as well as on-premises data centers.
  • Experience delivering software to multiple environments using Ansible or similar automation and configuration management technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • An MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
  • An active US Department of Defense or Intelligence TS/SCI clearance.
  • Experience with containerization and deployment of Machine Learning models.
