We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Programmer/Developer III to join our team at the Department of Public Health Sciences. As a key member of our clinical trials team, you will be responsible for leading the planning, design, and implementation of individual clinical trials within the WebDCU system.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the planning, design, and implementation of individual clinical trials within the WebDCU system.
- Work with the entire clinical trial study team to setup trial requirements using DCU IS section standards.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance throughout the life of the trial.
- Participate in the development of new WebDCU web applications using.NET.
- Implement assigned requirements within specified time frames and analyze/test new software prior to completion.
- Perform independent research, design, and implementation of upgraded WebDCU versions using.NET.
- Work with management to develop requirements for new systems and document implemented software using DCU IS section standards.
- Participate in the administration and monitoring of IT-related activities in a backup and support role.
- Help maintain network reliability by performing software updates and monitoring server activity and availability.
- Participate in the interview and selection of new IS personnel and help plan/train new employees on IS section standards.
- A high school diploma and four years of work experience in system program modification and maintenance, system software design and development, or system software testing and debugging.
- An associate's degree or bachelor's degree in a related field may be substituted for required work experience.
