Northern Light Health is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse II to join our team at the Gastroenterology Clinic. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and collaborating with other professionals to deliver high-quality services.
Job DescriptionThe Registered Nurse II role involves delivering nursing care to assigned patients on a Nursing Unit, supervising other qualified staff, and implementing policies and procedures as defined by the State of Maine Nurse Practice Act and Northern Light Health Standards of Care/Practice. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate empathy and compassion when interacting with patients and families.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, adhering to evidence-based practices and hospital standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to other qualified staff members.
- Contribute to a safe and therapeutic environment by promoting patient safety and identifying potential risks.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Maine.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Estimated Salary: $62,000 - $82,000 per year.
