Job Summary

The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee the coordination and supervision of maintenance technicians to ensure schedule compliance and plant reliability. This role will work closely with Operations personnel to identify and address maintenance needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily maintenance schedules and communicate expectations to technicians.
  • Conduct regular progress checks to ensure jobs are completed safely and on time, identifying and addressing any issues or variances.
  • Coach and mentor technicians on work performance and take corrective action as needed.
  • Review completed work orders and create follow-up work orders as necessary.
  • Communicate preventative maintenance findings with the Operations team for future planning.
  • Implement projects to improve equipment reliability.
  • Participate in weekly scheduling meetings to review required PMs and identify additional work needed.
  • Ensure all jobs are safely released to the Operations team.
  • Maintain proper housekeeping standards during and after job completion.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Supervisor and Maintenance Superintendent to escalate high-priority or emergency work orders.
Requirements
  • Working knowledge of trades classifications and functions.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with various levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in using CMMS and Microsoft Suite software.
  • Ability to manage and lead effective meetings.
  • Coaching and mentoring skills to develop personnel.
Work Environment
  • Primarily Monday-Friday, with flexibility to work outside standard hours as needed.
  • Standing for extended periods.
  • Lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Carrying ladders and tools.
  • Climbing ladders or stairs.
  • Walking long distances.
