This is a challenging opportunity to lead a high-performing team responsible for the final assembly and production of the F-16V Block 70 aircraft. As the F-16 Build Team Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring that the build process adheres to Lockheed Martin's high standards for safety, quality, cost control, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the F16V Block 70 build team, ensuring all structural and systems components are assembled according to safety, quality, cost, and schedule requirements.
  • Identify and implement process enhancements to improve production flow, reduce costs, and increase efficiency, while ensuring timely delivery of aircraft.
  • Oversee the allocation of resources, production control, equipment, and logistics to optimize production outcomes and minimize disruptions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), and the System Program Office to ensure smooth project execution and high customer satisfaction.
  • Uphold Lockheed Martin's standards by maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols, company policies, and production procedures, while fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in Aviation Production or Maintenance, Modification, Repair and Overhaul (MMRO) Operations.
  • Experience leading a team to meet critical schedules, resolve complex and/or time-sensitive technical or operational issues.
  • Experience reading and interpreting blueprints.
  • Experience interacting with internal/external customers.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Airport experience, including fighter aircraft experience.
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance as required.
  • Ability to create and utilize metrics related to performance.
  • Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience.
  • SAP experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to create, monitor, and report on all executive operations metrics.
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing or processes.
