Job DescriptionAs a post-anesthesia care unit nurse, you will provide short-term care to patients immediately following surgery, from 30 minutes to several hours post-op. Your responsibilities include regularly taking vitals, ensuring proper breathing, and administering oxygen or pain medication when necessary. You may also care for patients in the pre-op setting, managing their needs and preparing them for surgery.
