Regional Director, Georgia Market Leader

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Regional Manager to oversee the execution of Heaven Hill's strategic initiatives in the Georgia and South Carolina markets. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing distributor relationships, ensuring adherence to brand policies, and driving sales growth.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will have a minimum of seven years' experience in the distilled spirits industry, with a proven track record of sales and marketing success. You will be required to travel within the territory, including overnights as needed, and must possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-centric approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day sales activities of market managers, ensuring goals and programs are executed and achieved
- Develop and implement local merchandising programs, working closely with distributors to drive sales growth
- Collaborate with distributors to ensure adherence to brand policies, distribution objectives, and promotional activity
- Direct distributor selling activities to achieve sales, distribution, and merchandising goals
- Negotiate pricing with distributor management and provide support for all sales-related activities
- Act as primary contact for distributor sales teams, ensuring they are informed of local and national objectives and programs
- Educate distributors and sales teams on company initiatives and best practices
- Analyze competitive market activity and evaluate distributor execution against company initiatives
- Have high visibility at the distributor office, meeting with sales representatives and management to ensure pursuit of Heaven Hill's goals and objectives
- Execute 'in-market days' with and without distributor sales teams
- Provide National Account mandate compliance and pricing requests in a timely fashion
- Stay informed and knowledgeable of customer and consumer trends
- Successfully launch new products, achieving volume and distribution objectives
- Provide feedback on effectiveness of marketing and sales initiatives
- Review program updates with distributor management
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field
- Minimum seven years' work-related experience in distilled spirits/wine/beer supplier &/or distributor industry/CPG
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple distributorships and states
- Travel within territory to include overnights as needed
- Sales and Marketing — Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services
- Highly motivated with a creative and entrepreneurial mindset
- Excellent critical thinking skills, using logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions
- Analytical skills; gathering data from a wide variety of sources, and presenting it in formats suitable for a wide variety of audiences
- Great managerial and effective presentation skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Must be customer–centric with good negotiation and business expansion skills
- Proficient using Microsoft Office including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Compensation and Benefits:
The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including paid vacation, 11 paid holidays, health, dental, and vision eligibility from day one, FSA/HSA, 401K match, EAP, and maternity/paternity leave.
