Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Medical Sales Representative to join our dynamic team at St. Joseph Hospice. As a key member of our patient care team, you will play a critical role in promoting our services and enhancing the quality of life for our community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with physicians and discharge planners at hospitals to ensure referral and admissions
  • Conduct market analysis to identify referral source targets and maintain sales territory to meet census goals
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet sales targets, including cold calling and contact planning
  • Provide educational presentations to healthcare professionals, organizations, and businesses to promote our services
  • Visit physician offices, hospitals, assisted living facilities, and skilled nursing facilities to educate and inform referral sources and patients about our home health options

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field, or two years of progressive experience in marketing and sales
  • At least four years of medical marketing experience, preferably in hospice care
  • Documented sales success and verifiable awards from previous positions
  • General computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Experience with formal sales training and cold calling for business generation
  • Highly ethical, self-motivated, and team-oriented individual
