Nurse Practitioner Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team at The Goodkind Group.
Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality care to patients across all age groups, with a focus on primary care. This position is working in a hospital environment and providing exceptional care.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and observe patients to identify potential health issues.
- Document medical histories and symptoms of patients to inform treatment plans.
- Create personalized patient care plans to address specific needs and goals.
- Monitor patients' health and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Train patients and their families to manage and prevent illness and injury through education and support.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive care to patients admitted to the hospital.
- Work closely with physicians, specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
- Advocate for patients' needs, rights, and preferences while promoting a patient-centered and culturally sensitive approach to care.
Requirements:
- 3600 Hours prior practice experience as a Nurse Practitioner & Industrial Health Preference required.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Registered Nurse preferred.
- N.Y.S. Registered Nurse.
- Graduate of a N.Y.S. Registered Nurse Practitioner Program.
- Successful completion of pharmacy component.
- Ability to lift and position patients if required.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal/communication skills and the ability to work effectively with others on the team to achieve desired outcomes.
- Organizational time management skills as evidenced by capacity to multitask and prioritize work.
- Educate patients on preventive health measures and wellness strategies.
