Key Responsibilities- Facilitate and Coordinate Total Patient Care

- Accurately and thoroughly document patient information, including medical history, medications, and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care
- Attend and contribute to unit-based and hospital-wide meetings and committees
- Education of Patient and Family
- Provide patient education on disease management, treatment options, and self-care
- Involve family members in the care planning process and provide education on their role in patient care
- Patient Advocate
- Advocate for patients' rights and needs, ensuring their voices are heard and respected
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure patient-centered care
- Maintain Patient Safety
- Identify and report potential safety risks and hazards
- Implement and maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
- Other Duties as Assigned
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated RN with:
- Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) with proof of enrollment in a BSN program prior to hire
- Minimum Years of Experience: 1 year of medical-surgical experience, with a preference for 2 or more years of RN experience
- License, Registry or Certification: Current NJ RN licensure, American Heart Association CPR certification, ACLS within 6 months of hire, telemetry experience or HMC class required, CPI training and certification within 6 months of hire/transfer
- Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities: Must pass annual clinical competency-based program and mandated in-service education, with skills including IV therapy, basic arrhythmia interpretation, conscious sedation, Bi-Pap/CPAP, and EndTidal CO2
