Professional Practice Development Center:

Mercy is the only hospital in Oklahoma to use a Professional Practice Development Center designed to help new graduate nurses transition into the nursing profession, and to support experienced nurses as they begin their Mercy career. In the Learning Center, core competencies, professional attributes, and simulation of nursing events increase your confidence, competence, and job satisfaction.

Position Qualifications:

  • Required Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
  • License: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
  • Certifications: Basic life support training should be completed in 90 days with advanced training required at certain intervals.
