About the Job

KurzSolutions is seeking a highly skilled Psychiatrist to join our team at Keesler Medical Center in Biloxi, Mississippi. As a Psychiatrist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Responsibilities
  • Execute government-mandated patient care schedules.
  • Perform psychiatric assessments, evaluations, diagnoses, and interventions.
  • Construct and review patient case histories utilizing interview techniques.
  • Render psychiatric disorder diagnoses.
  • Prescribe and evaluate the efficacy of a diverse range of therapeutic modalities.
  • Provide recommendations for psychiatric case disposition.
  • Offer expert counsel on mental health concerns and preventive measures.
  • Advise on the procurement and utilization of psychiatric supplies and equipment.
  • Maintain meticulous records, engage in military-specific training, and provide instruction to interns and residents as necessary.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree.
  • Graduate from an accredited medical school in the United States or Canada.
  • Successful completion of an internship and residency program approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education or the Committee on Postdoctoral Training of the American Osteopathic Association.
  • Minimum of 24 months of experience in a similar field within the last 36 months.
  • Board certification or board eligibility in the specialty area.
  • Active and unrestricted physician license from any state.
  • AHA or ARC BLS Certification.
  • Ability to pass a government background check and security clearance.
