Job Title: Sr. Manager of Application Development

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Manager of Application Development to join our team at Univar Solutions USA LLC. As a key member of our Commercial Sales team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to retain and grow national sales for our Mining Group in the Energy Division.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist customers with application and formulation support, providing technical support at all levels as necessary. Coordinate supplier meetings at key and target customers, and participate in joint calls with Univar Sales and Suppliers. Develop technical proposals, generate product and service application solutions, and identify new service and product opportunities through supervising industry and market changes and customer needs. Provide training and presentations for sales teams and customers, and manage communication with supplier technical resources. Collaborate on products and service solutions, attend product training and continual education, and assist with new product launches. Assist in qualifications of potential new suppliers and products, provide feedback on technical aspects, intelligence, and marketplace, and participate in all industry-related meetings and teleconferences. Establish annual and quarterly sales pipeline targets for respective industries that successfully integrate with overall business team or company strategies.

Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Engineering. 5+ years of successful industrial sales management experience, and 5+ years in the mining industry with familiarity of mining processes used throughout the US. Proven experience in developing and completing a business plan, strong analytical and communication skills, and good decision-making skills. Knowledge and familiarity with CRM tools and systems, ability to build strong and lasting business relationships, and proficiency in MS Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Demonstrates accountability and integrity, persists in overcoming obstacles and challenges to meet commitments, recognizes the contributions of others, and supports a diverse and inclusive work environment.
