Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled Test Engineer to join its team in Troy, MI. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and supporting system and component trials, developing and managing instrumentation for data collection, and analyzing test data to document results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support system and component trials
- Develop and manage instrumentation for data collection
- Analyze test data and document results
- Create and maintain standard test procedures
- Manage test equipment lifecycle
- Support field test activities and logistics
- Write incident reports and conduct failure analyses
- Install and monitor test instrumentation
- Ensure safety and environmental compliance
- Manage stakeholder relationships
- Train and mentor test engineers
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Systems)
- 4-6 years of experience with the installation and recording data from recording devices
- Experience with data loggers, sensors, and test instrumentation
- Knowledge of US DoD process and procedures for vehicle development (MIL-STDs)
- Experience with data acquisition software, such as MATLAB/Labview
- Knowledge in Systems Engineering and related Standards/Processes
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Systems)
- Experience working on DoD ground vehicles
