  • Project Leadership: Oversee the software development efforts for the DCFS Server Modernization Project, ensuring timely completion and successful delivery of project goals.
  • Technical Expertise: Engage in full-stack development using.NET technologies, IIS, and Microsoft SQL Server, with a focus on migrating legacy applications to modern Microsoft Servers.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with diverse stakeholders to ensure clear communication and effective project management, providing strong technical and functional leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Application Development: Develop, test, and implement application modifications, re-platforming, rebuilding, or decommissioning as necessary, utilizing Agile SDLC methodologies.
Required Skills
  • Technical Expertise: A minimum of 10 years of experience as a Senior Software Developer with a strong track record of leading large-scale IT projects, leveraging Agile SDLC methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Technologies: Proficiency with JIRA and Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO), with strong knowledge of.NET full-stack development concepts, including Internet Information Services (IIS).
  • Database Management: Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including database migration and performance tuning.
  • Leadership and Communication: Demonstrated ability to provide technical and functional leadership, manage multiple tasks effectively, and communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders.
Desirable Skills
  • Industry Experience: Previous experience working with Health and Human Services Agencies.
  • Additional Technical Skills: Familiarity with legacy and modern Microsoft Server environments, including virtualization.
