We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As a key member of our Production Engineering and Operations organization, you will be responsible for providing guidance to engineering teams regarding design concepts to ensure the best manufacturing techniques are being used.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in tool design reviews to ensure tools are feasible and reduce build times and program costs during assembly.
  • Define sequence of operations for product builds.
  • Investigate and initiate corrective actions and improvements that involve non-conforming product.
  • Identify improvement opportunities in areas that require producibility and affordability initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field and 1 year of related engineering experience, or Master's Degree in STEM and 0 years of experience.
  • Experience in NX, Catia, CAD, and/or related computer-aided design programs.
  • Active DOD Secret security clearance investigated within the last 5 years.
  • Ability to obtain/maintain Special Access Program within a reasonable amount of time as required by the business.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Manufacturing work instructions or instruction authoring experience.
  • Experience with developing enhancement processes that improve production shop floor efficiencies.
