Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Mechatronics Manufacturing Specialist to enhance our dynamic team in Shakopee, MN.
Who You Are:
You possess extensive expertise in manufacturing engineering, showcasing strong analytical and technical skills. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively while ensuring the delivery of high-quality products and services. Your ability to work independently and collaboratively makes you a valuable team member.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement enhancements for both new and existing manufacturing lines, including automation, from initial concept to final production.
- Address challenges across all facets of product development and manufacturing, including mechanical, assembly, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, painting, and testing processes.
- Collaborate with production leaders to optimize current manufacturing capabilities, yields, and capacity by developing team skills to support the designed manufacturing processes.
- Review, design, and update essential documentation such as workflows, work instructions, and specifications.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a mechatronics or automation manufacturing setting.
- A degree, diploma, or equivalent experience in general, industrial, mechanical, mechatronics, manufacturing, electrical, or process engineering.
- Proficient in engineering software tools such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of small engine components, both mechanical and electrical.
- Technical expertise in creating manufacturing documents, including PFMEA, process flows, control plans, work instructions, and checklists.
- Knowledgeable in the application of manufacturing processes, methods, and automation.
- Experience with robotics, mechatronics, and the automation of manufacturing systems.
Additional Considerations:
- Ability to communicate professionally in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Legally authorized to work in the USA.
- Regular commuting to the work location is required.
