Job Title: Property Clerk II

Job Summary:

The Property Clerk II provides administrative support to the Property Department, ensuring the efficient processing and filing of legal documents, job projects, and proposals. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records of legal documents, property roll books, and file maintenance.
  • Research and stay up-to-date on federal and local regulations regarding property purchases, environmental issues, and tax liens.
  • Oversee tax pin numbers for all properties in the Central Territory.
  • Monitor and maintain tax exemption status for all properties in the territory.
  • Prepare and submit proposals for approval.
  • Prepare Release of Funds Requests for THQ projects.
  • Maintain Master Property Code files and assign Property Codes for new properties and leases.
  • Input projects, cemetery donations, and leases into the Property Management system.
  • Provide front desk coverage as scheduled.
  • Archive Property Minutes for closed projects.
  • Provide backup support for the Project Coordinator.
  • Process Release of Funds requests.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree preferred in Business or related field or equivalent work experience in office.
  • 2-3 years of office experience, with work with real estate a plus.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Teams.
  • Ability to speak, write, and understand English in a manner sufficient for effective communication with leadership and field personnel.

Working Conditions:
