Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Veterinarian to join our team at Livewell Animal Hospital. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, leading a team of veterinarians, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Leadership: Provide high-quality patient care, develop and implement clinical protocols, and ensure the highest standards of veterinary medicine.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of veterinarians, providing guidance and support to ensure the success of the hospital.
  • Business Development: Collaborate with hospital management to drive business growth, develop marketing strategies, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Client Communication: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest advances in veterinary medicine, attending conferences and workshops to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university.
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in the state of employment.
  • 3+ years of leadership/management experience, preferably in a veterinary hospital setting.
  • 3+ years of experience as a veterinarian, with a strong clinical background.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze financial data and make informed business decisions.
