Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Veterinarian to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you'll be responsible for leading a team of veterinarians, mentoring and developing their skills, and driving the success of our clinics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of veterinarians, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional patient care and client satisfaction.
  • Mentor and develop associate veterinarians, helping them to improve their performance and achieve their career goals.
  • Collaborate with the clinic manager to drive the clinic's overall performance, focusing on medical quality, client experience, and employee engagement.
  • Embody and promote the Modern Animal culture, fostering a blame-free and self-compassionate work environment.
  • Participate in initiatives that support the well-being of the clinical team, making the veterinary profession both joyful and sustainable.

Requirements
  • At least 1 year of experience managing and leading teams of veterinarians and 5+ years of experience as a veterinarian.
  • Graduate of an AVMA-accredited veterinary school or completed requirements to practice in the United States.
  • Active license to practice veterinary medicine in Texas required at the start of employment.
  • License must be in good standing with no malpractice or disciplinary actions.
Pay Range

The pay range for this position is $133,000 - $190,000 annually, with a sign-on bonus and equity grant units available as part of the compensation package.
