Senior IT Governance Portfolio Manager

Job OverviewThis Senior IT Governance Portfolio Manager role supports the implementation and adoption of a portfolio management tool, ensuring accurate and updated data according to established schedules. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers and SMEs to achieve this goal.
Responsibilities- Portfolio Management Tool Administration: Administer and configure the project portfolio management tool to ensure seamless operation.
- Resource and Capacity Management: Configure and implement resource and capacity management in the IT department to optimize efficiency.
- Data Accuracy and Quality: Work with project managers and SMEs to capture, update, and maintain accurate project data supporting portfolio management.
- Quality Checks and Audits: Perform quality checks and audits of project management data to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Issue Resolution: Collaborate with project managers to address and resolve issues efficiently.
- Requirements Gathering and Delivery: Support the requirements gathering, design, build, and delivery of new capabilities, including reports and dashboards. Document process flows and change management deliverables.
- Portfolio Dashboards: Assist in creating portfolio dashboards to provide visibility into project performance.
- Project Scheduling: Develop and manage project schedules for Governance projects, documenting and tracking status of action items, issues, and risks.
- Quality Management Processes: Establish and maintain quality management processes for IT systems and services.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall IT performance and efficiency.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders to convey Governance and quality-related updates.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- PMP or SAFe certification desired.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong reporting and analytical skills.
- Proficient in Google Suite.
- Extensive knowledge of Portfolio Management or ERM tools.
- Proven ability to work in a virtual team environment.
- Experience working in SAFe Agile environments and Waterfall methodologies.
- Ability to build and manage relationships across an enterprise.
- High attention to detail and desire to deliver quality work.
- Ability to work independently.
