About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Pastry Cook/Baker to join our team at North Italia. As a Pastry Cook/Baker, you'll be responsible for preparing our delicious Italian breads, pastries, puddings, and other desserts from scratch, following our recipes to produce consistent results.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and bake a variety of Italian pastries, breads, and desserts from scratch.
  • Complete your prep list, efficiently run your station during the shift, and follow all specs and food handling standards.
  • Portion and package products, ensuring presentation is appealing and consistent.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to sanitization standards and food safety guidelines.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar capacity.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • A passion for cooking and creating high-quality desserts.
