Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Labor and Delivery nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. As a travel nurse with Epic Travel Staffing, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and develop your skills in a dynamic setting.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to Labor and Delivery patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by promoting a culture of safety, respect, and open communication.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of New Jersey.
  • 2+ years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) Intermediate certification.
  • NRP certification.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Ability to float to other units as needed.
